Say your thanks before its too late. So since I'm at home now doing pretty much nothing let me say my thanks to this bunch of people in my life. They might not be very close to me but i treat them with the utmost respect and their advices lead me to become this basically good-natured person i am today.Seniors. Haha yeps since my secondary school days, I have pretty much been blessed with the BEST seniors around me in band. Of course i have seniors in gym but cause i was too young we train separately so i never been able to know them very much. Yep but since I was sec 1, i was blessed with these 3 seniors which helped me out alot and made my life in band so much more enjoyable especially during sectionals and full band practices. Benjamin, Zheng Cheng and Chanlun. Benjamin was once of the closest and dearest seniors i ever had. Very very bright, intelligent and of course very funny. I have to admit he wasn't the best player around, but he was definitely the best senior. Up still now he still dishes out bits of advices for me which i take importance to because his advices simply turn out to be true. When i wanted to transfer schools in sec 2, he told me that i will regret it and of course i didn't. Up till now i'm still very glad that i didn't try to take a few entrance tests that year to transfer schools. And recently he also helped me alot in passing my NTU interview and i thank him alot for that. Chanlun & ZhengCheng. 2 very talented eupho players. I would not consider myself to be a good player but without them guiding me could have been much worse. Even though chanlun was a very strict senior which he is still now, i know his intentions is to bring out the best in our section and so i practiced and it turned out fine :)) ZhengCheng was sec 4 when i was sec 1 so i didn't see him around much but when i graduated i got to know him better via alumni practice and also both of us ended up in SAF bands. He's was a very helpful senior and i am really grateful for that. When i went up to CJC, i met Henry. My euphonium SL in CJCSB. He wasn't much of a speaker, slightly introverted and didn't care much about our playing unless our section was being screamed at by our conductor. But i guess it because JC we ought to be have a standard of playing already and he was confident in Mel & I. Still, he was a very helpful senior in other ways. He would sometimes help out in my work and when i ended up with terrible results for A levels. I remembered him calling me and chatting for an hour or so on the phone with about what i could do. He might not remember it but the advices he gave me made me realise he was actually a very caring senior. Then i ended up in SAF bands then there were this whole bunch of seniors. Of course at first i didn't dare to go near any of them cause most of them looked very fierce, intimidating and slightly bitchy. But of course as time went by, faces looked warmer and conversations made. It sorta took me a while to realise that some of these seniors were actually trying to look out for the juniors. And of course they turned out to be quite helpful. Alot of them were also very funny and fun to hang out with. My two eupho seniors that i met. Justin and Chings. Both talented and eloquent. Justin seemed fierce at first but after we chatted abit abit, he turned out to be haha quite a nonsense person. Haha funny to talk to and he would alway think up some scenarios about life and make me ponder over it. His advices are also pretty much spot on ( See i dunno why all my senior dish out such good advices!). Chings is another senior which i recently met. Uber talented in the euphonium and very hard working. Highly intelligent and also very very helpful. Thanks alot for being such a good massagnist. But besides that point, its good to have a senior which help you out alot on the administrative side of the band cause i quite careless in that area. Chings is simply a very good-natured person which i think will do VERY WELL in life in the future. Having such good seniors is not something i will take for granted for there are always awful people out there which could end up being my seniors. Of course not much of them came into my life now but maybe so in the future. So i will always try be a very helpful senior cause there's really nothing much to diva about when you're a seniors. I try to maintain a good rapport with my section and of course thats why i remain so close to my CJC eupho section cause we have so much fun together. Try hard to help my juniors in anyway possible and keep them out of trouble. Of course then i would try to helpful in my current Band B but it seems that the juniors are having a hard time keeping me out of trouble. =p Oh wells. most of them are that uberly older than me anyways. So i would basically like to say to all these seniors. Thank You.
